先日物撮りした、画像がカタチになった。
ガラス作家の友人が今度作家同士で展示をするというのでその告知用の写真が必要で、撮影を依頼してくれた。
普段、だいたい画像での納品や、あとはwebへの掲載なので手に取ってみることができるものになることがほとんどない。だけどこうして小さなポストカードサイズでもカタチになってみるとかなり感激した。デザインはプロのデザイナーさんに依頼して作ってもらったらしく、色も綺麗に出してくださって、ポストカードの質感も良くて喜びが倍増しました。
ガラス作家の友人が手渡ししてくれて、良いものになったよねと、2人で大喜びしました。

The other day, the product photos I shot finally came to life.
A glass artist friend of mine is preparing for an exhibition with other artists, and she needed some photos for the announcement. She asked me to do the shoot.
Most of the time, my work is delivered as digital files or used online, so I rarely get to see it in a form I can actually hold. But when I saw it printed—even just as a small postcard—I was honestly touched. The design was done by a professional designer, the colors came out beautifully, and the postcard itself had such a nice texture. It doubled the joy for me.
My friend handed me one in person, and we both couldn’t stop smiling, saying, “This turned out so nice!”
